  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 3 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 pound large shrimp
  • 1 and 15-ounce can corn (remove from can and drain the corns)
  • 1/2 cup sliced carrots
  • 2 ribs celery
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1 teaspoon salt, or according to taste

  • 3 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream or half and half 

Directions
