How To Cook Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs Crock Pot

Divide the cheese sticks into small pieces. Try to divide the cheese sticks into half inch. Divide the each cheese sticks about 6-8 pieces. Place the cheese sticks divided into pieces into the plate. Place it in the freezer until it is ready to use.

Take a large bowl and add ground beef, bread crumbs, egg and egg yolk, garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper in it. Mash the ingredients together in the bowl to give the ingredients a good mixture. Mashing the ingredients gives mixture fine and smooth look. Mush the mixture with hands properly. You can use spatula too for this purpose but using hands is preferred.

Remove the cheese present in the plate in freezer. Scoop about 4 tablespoon of meat mixture from bowl and make a ball out of it. Roll the ball properly with hands. Gently place the piece of mozzarella in the center of meat mixture ball. Roll the meat balls with hands to press the mozzarella placed in the center of meat ball. Repeat the same process for the remaining meat mixture.

Take a greased slow cooker and place the meat balls in it. When all the meat ball are in slow cooker, cover the cooker properly and cook on high flame for 1-2 hours. You can cook on low flame too for 4-5 hours until meat is cooked properly and changes its color from light pink to brown. The cheese may start coming out of the meat balls. Do not take tension about this cheese coming out of meat balls.

Alternate Method

You can use alternating method for cooking the meat balls. If you want to make meat balls more quickly than place the meat ball in baking oven. Take breaking tray and place 1 inch grease sheet and bake the meat balls at 400 degree for 10-15 minutes until browned or cheese in melt properly. If you like parsley than garnish the meat balls with parsley and if you lie Italian seasoning than you can garnish it with Italian seasoning too. Serve the meat balls with Alfredo sauce.
