How to Cook Instant Pot Boiled Peanuts

Take colander and add peanuts in it. Risen the peanuts with cold water until the water runs clearly. Add peanuts to the instant pot. You can use slow cooker or a large stock pot. Now add in salt and water in it.

Place a steamer basket or some trivet on the top of the peanuts to force them under some water. Cover the pot properly and lock the lid in correct position. Change the direction of valve to sealing. Set the manual or pressure cook button to time of 65 minutes.

When the set time is over than let the cooker settle for 30 minutes before removing the lid. The longer the sit the more flavory they will be. If you want to cook the peanuts in slow cooker cover the cooker with lid properly and cook for 12 hours. If you want to cook the peanuts on stove than add water in pan and bring it to boil. When the water starts boiling than slow down the flame to low. Add peanuts in it and cover the pot. Let the peanuts simmer for 3 and half hour.

Pour the peanuts into the colander and drain the water properly. Shell the peanuts with help of your hands of teeth. Serve and Enjoy.

Store the leftovers in refrigerator in airtight container. You can store the peanuts up to 7 days.
