How to make Peach Crisp

Pre heat the oven at temperature of 350 degree. Butter the pan of 9×13 inch. Take large bowl and mix together peaches, lemon juice, vanilla, flour and sugar. Stir all the ingredients well. Transfer them into prepared pan and spread out the peaches evenly. Take a separate medium bowl and combine flour, oats, brown sugar and salt. Add cinnamon in it and stir them well.

Cut in the chilled butter. ( You can use knife, cutter, folk or your fingertips too. If you don’t want to use these things than you can use food processor too). Cut the butter until course crumbs form. Spoon the toppings over the peaches in an even layer. Bake it for 35-40 minutes in baking oven until the topping is browned around the corners and the top looks dry and crisp.

Let it cool for 15 minutes. serve it warm with vanilla ice cream and enjoy.

  • I use yellow peach in this dish as everyone says that yellow peaches are more juicy than white ones. You can use peach of your own choice for making this dish.
  • Peach can be use with skin or without skin. You can peel before cutting them or you can peel after cutting them into slices. Choice is all yours

  • 3 pounds peaches sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar vanilla ice cream for serving

For the topping

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1-teaspoon salt
  • 1-cup oats
  • 1-teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1-cup brown sugar
  • 14 tablespoons butter (chilled and cut into small cubes)

Directions
