How To Cook Tortellini Alfredo

Bring a large pot and fill it with water. Fill 3/4 of the pot with water and place it over stovetop and bring it to boil. When water starts boiling add Tortellini Alfredo in it. Boil for about 3 minutes and than sperate the alfredo from water with help of spoon or strain the Tortellini Alfredo. Reserve the past liquid for later use.

Take a large skillet and place it over stovetop at medium range. Add butter in it and melt it fully. When the butter is melted fully stir in garlic cook for 1 minute till fragrant. Sprinkle some flour in garlic and stir constantly until a paste like mixture is forms. Gradually add some milk in it with constant stirring until smooth mixture forms and is fully incorporated.

Stir in salt, pepper according to your taste and the remaining pasta water in it. Add some cheese in above mixture and cook until cheese melts fully and incorporated. Gradually add more pasta water in it and stir constantly to make smooth pourable sauce.

Check the spices in the sauce and add if there is some need of more spices in it. Add the Tortellini Alfredo in the sauce and cook it for 2-3 minutes so that Alfredo is hot throughout. Top it with crack black peppers and some parsley as well. If you do not like parsley than you can garnish oregano as well.

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
