Chimichurri is a Argentinian sauce or marinade that turns everything into gold. Its flavor is heavenly good. Its garlic, tangy and fresh flavor is just because of fresh parsley. It brightens up the steaks flavor just like sprinkle of lemon or salt enhances the flavor of any dish.

This Chimichurri sauce is so easy t prepare that all you need is to mix up vinegar dressing, oil and parsley together and your sauce is ready to serve. Mix oil and vegetable oil together and than add spices and herbs in it according to you taste and flavor.

Chimichurri Steak is best to prepare in lunch as well as in f=dinner. It s a perfect meal and can be serve with any sides like potato wedges and mashed potatoes along with stuff vegetables. Chimichurri Steak can be made mouthwatering by just adding 4 things– plenty of fresh vegetables, wine vinegar, garlic cloves and a touch of spices.

How to Cook Steaks

There is no need of margination while cooking the steaks. You just need to sprinkle some salt and some drops of olive oil on the steaks and place it on the grill an cook until it becomes tender. People love steaks seasoned with salt and some drizzle of olive oil, cook on medium rare or medium flame on grill or low cast iron skillet. You can cook steaks on your own choice. Like if you like juicy and tender steaks than cook it on medium rare and if you want some raw taste in steaks than cook it on low medium flame. You can serve Chimichurri Steak in different ways

Rib Eye: It is super juicy and tender due to its marbling. It is best when steaks is cook on medium range, can be cook good by maintaining the taste and tenderness.

T-Bone Steak: This includes two kinds in it , Tenderloin Filet/New York Strip Steak. If you want to cook steak on high flame than this is best option while maintaining the tenderness.

New York Strip Steaks: Buttery steaks but includes less fats than Rib eye steaks. It is best steaks if want to cook on medium rare flame maintaining the tender flavor along with it.

Chimichurri Sauce

Chimichurri Sauce add to steaks makes this meal more than heaven. This sauce add blond flavor to steaks. Chimichurri Sauce can be use as dipping sauce along with stuff vegetables. This sauce is so easy to make and its flavor is simply delicious.

If you have plenty of fresh parsley than this sauce is best one to use a lot of parsley. Chimichurri Sauce is made by mixing dressing vinegar and oil together along with oregano and parsley in it. You have seen plenty of variations but this one is the most basic recipe. Some people use fresh chilies instead of dried chilies. Adding fresh chilies add vibrant look in the sauce. Some people says dried pepper flakes add more flavor to this sauce.

Chimichurri Sauce is simply delicious to make if you have food processor. You just need to mix all the ingredients well in the food processor. Simply just add all the ingredients in the foo processor and mix them well. you can process parsley by hands too.

How Long Will Chimichurri Sauce Lasts

Chimichurri Sauce can be store in refrigerator for about 1-2 weeks in a right container. If you make Chimichurri Sauce in large quantity than you can preserve this sauce in freezer by placing this sauce in ice cubes. Than transfer these cubes into plastic bag or air tight container. It will last in freezer for about 3 months. So you need not to worry if you make more sauce it can be preserve easily. Chimichurri Sauce is use in many recipes so it will not remain in freezer for long time as it will be use before along with many recipes.

Chimichurri Steak

Ingredients

  • One and half pounds flank steak

Margination

  • 1/4-cup olive/Coconut oil
  • 1-teaspoon chili powder
  • 1-teaspoon onion powder
  • 1-teaspoon salt
  • 1-spoon lemon juice

Chimichurri Sauce

  • 1/2-cup cilantro
  • 1/2-cup parsley
  • 1/2-onion, finely cut into slices
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1-tablespoon garlic
  • 1/2-teaspoon Italian blending
  • 1/2-teaspoon red pepper flakes(Crushed)
  • 1/3-cup olive/coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Directions

1- Take a large bowl and add 1/4-cup olive/Coconut oil, 1-teaspoon chili powder, 1-teaspoon onion powder, 1-teaspoon salt and 1-spoon lemon juice in it and add flank steaks in it. Place all the mixture along with steaks in plastic bag. Seal it and chill it for 30 minutes or over night. If you left it over night than it tastes is more good.

2- Add 1/2-cup cilantro, 1/2-cup parsley, 1/2-onion, finely cut into slices, Salt to taste, Pepper to taste, 1-tablespoon garlic, 1/2-teaspoon Italian blending, 1/2-teaspoon red pepper flakes(Crushed), 1/3-cup olive/coconut oil, 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar in the blender or juicer and blend it well until a smooth mixture forms.

3- Pre heat the grill pan or skillet and add steaks in it and heat it to on medium flame. Cook steaks for 6-7 minutes and than turn the side so that both the sides cook fully.

4- lace the slice steaks in the serving plate and serve with chimichurri Sauce along with side servings like vegetables and mashed potatoes.

Tips/Notes

  • As Chimichurri Sauce includes garlic in it that’s why it is better to use it in between 3 days due to health factors. It can be store by freezing it for long time and reuse it again.
  • There is no too much salt in Chimichurri Sauce so that’s why serve this sauce with well seasoned steaks.
  • Normal and balsamic is too hard to use that’s why use mild vinegar.
