How to Bake Butterscotch Cookies

Take a large bowl and mix together ingredients like butter and sugar. Mix them well and than add vanilla and egg. Whisk the ingredients well until a smooth paste is formed.

Take a separate medium bowl and whisk together ingredients like flour, butterscotch pudding mix, and baking powder. Add this dry mixture to wet mixture prepared above. Keep mixing them until a well combined mixture is formed. Stir some butterscotch chips in the mixture and let it cool for 1 hour. Preheat the baking oven at temperature of 350 degree. Scoop about 2 tablespoon of mixture and roll them into a ball. Repeat this process for all the mixture prepared. Place these balls on the greased baking tray at distance of 2 inch from each other.

Bake these cookies for about 12-14 minutes. Remove the cookies from oven and immediately after removing the cookies from oven sprinkle some coarse sea salt over them. Allow them to cool completely on the baking tray. Store the cookies in air tight container at room temperature.

  • 3/4 cup butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 small instant butterscotch pudding mix
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Coarse sea salt
  • 1 bag butterscotch chips

Directions

1- Take a large bowl and mix together ingredients like butter and sugar. Mix them well and than add vanilla and egg. Whisk the ingredients well until a smooth paste is formed.

2- Take a separate medium bowl and whisk together ingredients like flour, butterscotch pudding mix, and baking powder. Add this dry mixture to wet mixture prepared above. Notes/Tips

  • If you find that the dough is still hard and crumbled after adding all the ingredients, than add 1 more egg in it. Add 1 more egg to make the dough smooth and together.
